Cellular Agriculture Journal Club

Organisations

Cellular Agriculture Society (CAS) is a very popular landing page for cellular agriculture, boasting >50,000 unique visitors a month. A great place to learn more about the field.

Cellular Agriculture Europe - a coalition of companies committed to playing their part in building a more resilient and sustainable future

New Harvest is a non-profit organisation that provides grants for Cell Ag research, and organises a great annual conference. Their site has lots of useful information, and they also have Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn pages.

The Good Food Institute - “We work with scientists, investors, and entrepreneurs to make groundbreaking good food a reality. We focus on clean meat and plant-based alternatives to animal products—foods that are more delicious, safer to eat, and better for the planet than their outdated counterparts.”

It can help you decide what courses to follow, or what jobs you are fit for (if you’ve already graduated). It is most relevant for Australia - based people, as it directs you to universities there, but you can find similar courses in the UK - or we can help with that if you reach out to us!

Cultured Meat and Future Foods Podcast - excellent podcast; the host, Alex Shirazi, interviews a variety of big names in the Cellular Agriculture community, including Isha Datar of New Harvest, Peter Verstrate of Mosa Meat, Paul Shapiro, author of best-seller “Clean Meat”, and Stephanie Wallis and Benjamina Bollag of London’s very own Higher Steaks.
